Construction Wraps Up for Everglades Channel

(Mohave Valley, AZ) Construction of the Everglades Channel wrapped up in June, 2011. With an estimated cost of $570,000

the channel is designed to convey 4,000 CFS drainage runoff as a final segment of the Antelope Wash.  The project required 55,000 C.Y. excavation, 5,300 C.Y. 18" riprap, 32,000 S.F. 6" concrete and 450 L.F. 36" cmp pipe.  Mohave Engineering provided design, construction staking, and materials testing/inspection services for the project.
