Construction Wraps Up for Everglades Channel

(Mohave Valley, AZ) Mark A Golden Construction wrapped up construction of the Everglades Channel in June, 2011.  With an estimated construction cost of $570,000 the channel is designed to convey 4,000 CFS drainage runoff as a final segment of the Antelope Wash.  The project required 55,000 C.Y. excavation, 5,300 C.Y. 18" riprap, 32,000 S.F. 6" concrete and 450 L.F. 36" cmp pipe.  Mohave Engineering provided design, construction staking, and materials testing/inspection services for the project.
