Title Insurance Cost for New Homes May Decrease

On August 7 The Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission approved a new method of determining property values for title insurance.  Using the new method properties purchased within 3 years of the Final Plat Recordation will have their value (for title insurance purposes) determined by the initial purchase price of the raw land as opposed to the price of the improved land.  The measure still has to be approved by the Board of Supervisors.
